Ingredients
  

  • 1 pc red onion Finely sliced
  • 1 cup Water
  • 3/4 cup Dark Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Cider Vinegar
  • 2 pcs Medium Green Apples Peeled and diced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Grated Fresh Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Mace
  • 1/2 tsp Curry Powder
  • 3 Tbsp Orange Zest
  • 340 g Dried Cranberries (Craisins)
  • 1/2 cup Currants
  • 1 cup Orange Juice

Instructions
 

  • Bring water to boil. Stir in brown sugar. Add onions and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in vinegar, apples, seasoning and zest. Simmer slowly for another 30 minutes.
  • Stir in cranberries, currants and orange juice. Boil for an additional 10 minutes.
