Allan Borushek

Co-Founder

Allan is a co-founder of food.com.au. Better known as the Calorie King, Allan has been a dietitian and health educator for more than 40 years. He has authored and published several books on weight control, heart disease prevention and diabetes. His ‘Top 100’ annual bestseller, CalorieKing’s Pocket Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter, has sold more than 15 million copies.

Lane Edwards

Lead Dietitian & Program Developer

Lane Edwards is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who holds a Master of Dietetic Practice from La Trobe University, and a Bachelor of Health Science with Honours from the University of Tasmania. In private practise she delivers medical nutrition therapy to patients with chronic health issues such as diabetes, infertility, PCOS, endometriosis and irritable bowel syndrome. As a professional science writer she is passionate about cutting through misinformation and informing the masses on simple but actionable health messages.

Cameron Treloar

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Cameron is an ESSA accredited exercise scientist and clinical exercise physiologist. Holding a Bachelor in Exercise Science and Professional Honours in exercise physiology from the University of Tasmania, Cameron works primarily in private practice with a strong focus on healthy ageing, chronic injury and disease management, and strength and conditioning training. He is passionate aboutthe power of exercise towards greaterphysical and mental health and finding suitable sustainable exercise solutions for all walks of life.

Thimpika Sachdej

Program Contributor

Thimpika Sachdej is a university qualified Nutritionist with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Population Health from Deakin University. She has particular interests in holistic nutrition, obesity prevention and health promotion. Her current roles include coordination and assistance in school nutrition incursions, social media content planning & design, and nutrition content writing.

Bree Voegt

Contributor

Bree is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and member of the Dietitians Association of Australia who completed an undergraduate in Food Science and Nutrition with Honours where she conducted a randomised controlled trial looking into the effects of protein supplementation on wound healing. She also completed a Masters of Dietetics, both degrees from Deakin University.

Eleise Britt

Eleise Britt is a university qualified Nutritionist with a Master of Human Nutrition from Deakin University, aspiring scientist and currently completing Bachelor of Science. She’s also a professional freelance writer in the field of nutritional genomics and gut health.

Steve Voegt

Steve is co-founder and director here at food.com.au. He just wants to help people acheive their goals and live happy and healthy lives. He manages the development of the platform and helps bring the people that matter together to produce the tools and content that will benefit our members.
